Hey Guys,
Looking for a new way to spice up the grading of offensive players instead of the tradition plus (+) and minus (-). I have seen many defensive coaches do this and refer to it as PERFORMANCE GRADING:
Does anybody have some time-tested methods that give different weight to different things such as:
For a turnover
Unneccesary penalty
Mental Mistakes
Exceptional play/catch etc.
Exceptional effort
Obviously, these things can impact a game more than just a "normal" play and I was looking for a way to make them weigh heavier in the course of grading a player than regular plays to show how these type of things impact a game.
Thanks & looking forward to the responses.

1 = blown assignment 2-below average 3-average play 4-good job, extra effort 5-outstanding play, went to whistle, pancake, etc.
Take the total divided by number of plays...you get a Foobtall GPA!!
you can put this into an excel documanet and let the progarm figure the average!
