We are similar to you. We break it by every saying "Kill".

We always said "ready break" on offense and on defense the play caller (LB) would say "HIT" and everyone else would respond "HARD" and clap in unison.

We're no huddle for both O and D. We use wrist cards on O so there is no "break". On defense our DC gives the call from the sideline and it is then echoed across to the players, who then go together, "Ready, HIT!" No Kill for us...

I do not believe in the huddle on o or d. it amazes me how defenses will huddle even vs our nohuddle offense. I guess they are just so used to getting into the huddle. to me it is a comfort thing for most team.s

offense huddle ready break
defense--muddle and just yell out the calls, no break

Offense for us is no huddle
Defense is .....MLB "Ready" everyone "TAKEAWAY"

Nothing..."ready...[CLAP]" I always thought that stuff was cheesy as a player...i guess it still carries over to coaching
PS NOTHING AGAINST THOSE THAT DO BREAK ON OTHER THINGS...I'm just not a RA RA type of guy...

Our QB calls the play, the Center goes to line up and read the D, QB calls the play a second time and says ready, then everyone says "Score"

preferably without tripping over our feet or running into our team mate.
