All of the state championship games are now available online at no cost. This is the first time they've attempted this and I don't know how long they'll be available. Games arranged from largest school division to smallest: LL Shelton (I Back) vs. Greenwich L Bunnell vs. Masuk (Both Spread) MM New Canaan (Spread) vs. Hand (I) M Berlin vs. Ledyard SS Seymour vs. Tolland (Double Wing) S Ansonia (features one of the most productive TB's in the country) vs. New London www.cptvfootball.org/

For me it starts to play the first game as soon as you open the page. Click the next button to switch between games. I don't know about getting copies, I can't tape off my satelitte.

Coach is there a way to get copies of some of these games if one wants one? I download mine to realplayer. If you have realplayer downloaded on your computer then while you are watching it a popup will appear and ask if you want to download the video. It does it for any video you watch.

Any of the teams run the Wing-T? Berlin's base offense is the Wing-T although they ran a good deal of spread in the playoffs. This is also the best game of them all and the poorest filming job. The refs actually blew the call last play of the game to deny Berlin a game Tying TD with no time on the clock. I have to say that Berlin has gone to the playoffs like fifteen times without winning a single championship in fact the semi-final game this year was their first win ever. If you watch you'll see why. They killed themselves at the start of the game. Sigh. Tolland's double wing is an actual double wing with the wings outside of the TE and not the double wing we mostly know with the wings lined up right behind the linemen. I hate watching DW teams but Tolland isn't really your typical DW team. (They are not H-K for example). Seymour = Boooooo! Watch the New Canaan-Hand game if you want to see one of the better comebacks you'll ever see. I have to say I was routing pretty hard for New Canaan here. Bunnell has one of the largest individuals you will ever see in your life. A two gap NT if I've ever seen one. We're talking like 6'5''+ and 425 a mountain of a man. They beat Masuk three times this year. In the regular season, in their conference championship game and in the state championship game... Ansonia's tail back has the most yards in the country and Ansonia is without a doubt the best team in the state. He doesn't actually have a good game at all but gets the ball like every play. No doubt that he had the most carries of his career in this game for no where near half his maximum yards.... Max preps has Greenwich above them but there is absolutely no way.

Ledyard runs the wing-t. Billy has been there forever, i even played against..in 70's he runs his version of the wing-t, double tight buck, trap belly and some minor things. he just runs it better than most teams can defense him. no frills, just here i come..
i also have the ansonia/new London game recorded and on dvd if anyone is interested Greg
also you probably won't be able to record it because of copy protection. I have to play Ledyard next year...Fun

I thought CPTV did a great job on all the games. I would love to see more CT football games on TV.

I thought CPTV did a great job on all the games. I would love to see more CT football games on TV. Except for minor things (double wing =! wing-T) and the berlin ledyard game cutting out so often they did a pretty good job. Personally I'd love them to show more. Would cut down on the amount I'd have to scout/film... =)
