We lost our last game last night against a team we should've beaten, but our kids were not upset at all. We were missing quite a few key players(players that this was their last season and didn't care about playing the last game), but they stuck it out and gave em a helluva game!! Good news: we've lost all the "problem coaches" we had, and my friend and I are now the owners of the team!!! We got together with all the parents and came to an agreement to switch leagues since we've had so many problems with this one because of our old head coach!!!! This means we have EVERYONE returning next year and the parents were very impressed with our Dave Cisar program! Now my problem is, this new league requires that parents buy all the equipment for their child, but most can barely afford the registration fee, so my friend and I are gonna have to equip the whole team, I.e. Shoulder pads and helmets mostly. The question I have is, is there any suggestions as to what we can do to get the best price available to field our whole teams, JV and Varsity?

i would talk to your local riddel rep, see what kind of pricing he can get you usually they are pretty good about giving every possible discount.
second, hook up with a local high school and try and order your stuff at the same time as them, this will save on shipping costs and will get you more of a discount.
fund-raising, fund-raising, fund-raising

They're probably all in the same price neighborhood for comparable stuff, but check for Schutt dealers too. That's who we're going with for helmets/shoulder pads this year.

Yes we'll be staying in the area. We're switching over to the Belton league, but still practicing in the Temple area. So now we'll be hitting both towns with fundraising. Also have to pass out flyers for sponsorship as well. We already have 3 tiers of sponsorship, but anything donated is GLADLY accepted. Check out our website at www. templetexans . com. Just take the spaces out because it won't take the address.

That's what I've been looking for already. I've found an awesome website that'll give us a bulk discount on orders of 12+ and we're gonna need at least 50 shoulder pads and 50 helmets! Lol. Quite an undertaking, but where there's a will, there's a way. As long as I get our kids out of this league and into one where they'll be safe and allowed to play the game right.

I have a contact in Puerto Rico looking for used equipment We didn't own the equipment we were using. That belonged to the league we were in.
