I was laying in bed watching Super Bowls from back in the day, when i had an idea for a no huddle "system". You could theoretically call every play from here. Maybe i am just tired, but hey at least i tried.

Anything will work as long as you are able to make sense out of it enough to get your kids to learn and remember it.
We use a color and a number in our cadence on every down. It doesnt mean a thing. We say " Down Blue 42 Blue 42 Set hut" Or whatever color and number the QB wants to call... It means nothing in general.
But, when we do want to either run a check with me or no huddle, then those colors and numbers become important.
We have a series of 9 of our best plays that we like to run in a hurry up situation. We will make that number the last number of the sequence. So lets say we wanted to run our #6 play then the QB would say "Down Green 26 Green 26 Set Hut".. The color is still not important here..
When we run a check with me.. such as Blast check with me or trap check with me.. we want to run it to the bubble or best side possible. So we will call the side at the line. If we have a really smart QB, which we do, we can allow him to find the bubble and call the side... or he can look over at the sideline and get the call.
We use Red, White, or Blue for right.. anything else goes left.. probably would be more simple to just say Red is right and anything else is left.. but that is just the way we have done it and still do it...

33 is pretty common teminology for FB to the left B gap. It's not going to take long for them to catch on.

Use the numbering system for the lower levels and name everything a concept grouped together. ALL DROPBACKS, PLAYACTIONS, base runs.
Throw in team set of wristbands for checks...or plays...then really screw up the defense...
call out BLUE 33 BLUE 33 defense yells RUN call CHECK CHECK #4. #4 is BLUE 33 from a different formation!!!holy crap. I just thought of that idea!!!
