Coaches, Need your help here. Trying to get more Formation names so that I can keep the verbiage down with the kids.
Looking for help! We use opposites examples. Red/Blue White/Black East/West Army/Navy Harpo/Groucho
Any other suggestions?

Coach, one thing i have found to work well is just R words and L words that are somewhat descriptive to the nature of the formation...some samples..
power sets rhino lion bull bear raptor lizard
more open sets

lovetocoach-
funny we use states to call our punt and kick return direction
east of iowa is right west of iowa is left
we can always say now that FB is also a lesson in geography. cross curricular learning. W. would be proud of us for trying to leave no student behind!
