The simplest use that I can see is looking at actual pictures of the opponents' formations and defense. Even if it's only at halftime, actual pics will be better than depending on press box coaches to draw them up while the game is going on or asking the kids what they're seeing (If you believe them the bad guys have 15 players because everybody has a man on them).

I agree that at halftime will be the best way to utilize the technology...but if you have an I pad and the press box coach does, you can instantly send pics/vids between series and not wait until halftime...

We plan to use it at halftime, the other problem is that the size of our staff we cant dedicate just member to having that specific job. Also I feel it maybe information overload during the game

So I cant take an IPad out onto the field and show my players the opposition's formation or fronts

I will be using the tag a game feature with my iPad. I would love to use this feature. My only thing is I'm in the box and I have one of my online guys with me. Idk if I want my other coaches on the field to go over scheme too much. This is our first year together as an offensive staff. We have about 20 coaches on our staff (freshman-var) so finding a guy to take pics isn't a problem. Maybe I could have one do it and send it to my QB coach when Def is on the field. I would love to hear how others will use it.

...asking the kids what they're seeing (If you believe them the bad guys have 15 players because everybody has a man on them). You nailed that one.

...and they're all getting double-teamed on defense. Whew... good. I thought it was just MY guys who shared these little gems of info. The GAP 8 style line with 4 linebackers and with DB's pressing while still having 2 safeties is my LEAST favorite defense to play against ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . I have never seen an opponent run it on film, yet it invariable is what we end up playing against if you ask the players

Nose Guard: "The guard's double teaming me" LB: "The tackle's coming down on me" DT: " The TE's coming down on me" DE: "He's getting to my feet" Coach: "WHO'S getting to your feet?"

They discovered they couldn't police all the new technology out there so basically said, "go for it". They can police it if you cross the #s with it, so you can't use it there.
Now, here's my question: No wi-fi at the stadium, and of course who knows what you have on the road, how do you get it from pressbox to sideline during the game? I know someone has this worked out.

I have been pondering this since the word came out. I don't know if we'll do it right yet, but I am sure that we will eventually. The shot that I think would be the best bang for the buck is the end zone shot. Then maybe a wide for coverages. I don't see watching video as being a productive thing simply because of the time variable, maybe I am wrong
