i think it is a good idea, but wouldn't a sting tied to their balls and the back of their helmet do the same thing??? also in the second video when the center was snapping shotgun his head was down so does it really work the way you want it to?
the quick release looks like they have a Former NFL QB and College Head Coach, NFL Athletic Trainer, and a South Florida High School Head Coach that support them...............so it's gotta be good

Sterling Sharpe...and anothe rplayer, had something similar to that head stablizer thing. Just a strap, similar to a chin strap, that would buckle to the back of his sholder pads and to the back of his helmet.
This would prevent him from putting his head down...but more-so, any pressure the back of his head would take would be put on not just his spine, but his shoulder pads too.
I'm of the opinion...it should be mandatory in youth football, because it can't hurt, and might be able to help. Use them for a couple of years and see if injuries go down. Can't be hard to implement.

i wonder how long it will take for someone to sue a school district ove rna injury, then make these things mandatory for all football players to wear in practice and games. The guy who invented this will make a ton of money from the typical over protective rich mom
