Guys there is a rat on here. Mike Lalor is claiming to have a practice planner that he'll give you for free. I responded to his post and he tried to charge me...I then objected to the fee because he had said it was free...he said he forgot to attach it and then replied with a file nthat looked like the planner and turned out to be a virus. Luckily my v-protection caught it before it did any real damage, but it screwed some stuff up. Just wanted to warn everyone before he get's someone else.

I have put a lock on the thread that details the "giveaway" in the trading post until this is resolved

I don't know the whole story obviously, but I will say I've never had a problem dealing with Coach Lalor. His stuff isn't free, but I have received A LOT of good, solid information and game footage from him for a grand total of fifteen dollars. Again, I don't know the whole story, but I will vouch for him as a good person to deal with. I'm hoping this is just a miscommunication and that he wasn't really trying to send a virus.

I don't think it was malicious.
Some people's email and virus scanners are set tighter than others.

I received it with no hassle also. He did follow the free stuff with a note explaining a couple of the things he has for sale. Not a problem with me.

i know in past i have inadvertently sent viruses to people as well, some viruses attack word documents (or excel or other specific types of docs) so unknowingly a virus might be sent....our virus scnner at school is top notch, so i do not worry much. i also use a mac, and as ffar as i know macs are relatively immune to viruses as most are written to attack pc's

I have a hard time believing that Mike Lalor (coach of 3 state championship teams in Illinois) would be sending viruses to people on purpose.

After talking with Coach Lalor via pm's I don't think it was malicious in any way, or if there even was a real virus.
