My question for you coaches, when you're preparing to scout a game (actually go and watch your opponent, "LIVE"), Do you just film the game? or do you bring a note pad, take notes, and draw up plays, and if you do draw up plays etc... do you go as a coaching staff with individual responsibilities to watch (i.e. each coach watches a certain phase of that team in the game). I like to take notes and draw up formations and a few key plays (I leave out the blocking until later, when I watch the film). I use this sheet to take notes and draw up plays. Anybody do the same... Looking to update this copy, What would you add or take out?

I just film typically from the endzone. I think your sheets are fine. One thing I do is look at each play of last year and with a red pen track where the opponents went on each play.
