Hell yeah a laser level would be more fun! Why didn't you mention that in the first place? Would that be a Space Laser or a regular Laser?
I wondered why I didn't remember this then I looked at the date.

I've done all this to many times. On the diesel, it will work good but if you get a lot of rain it will end up getting torn up bad and turn into mud bath, but it is a practice field. I would keep your line thin. When I coached in Idaho our game field lines were diesaled in but there isn't a lot of rain in Idaho.

Y'all are lucky with your right angles and stuff. When they put our track in in the late 80's it wouldn't quite fit in the stadium so they did the only logical thing and narrowed the field by 5 feet on one end. Try measuring and lining that {censored} out. At least there are markers for the corners, but you gotta know where to measure from or the hashes and numbers get all out of whack.

I've seen some crazy set ups. One school I was at it was a old WPA field. Corner of end zone went right up to concrete wall. Arrow painted on Wall you were still in play touching wall.
