Ive put them in the washer then air dry them. Maybe it was just the brand I was using but some of ours shrank when I had them in the dryer

Hey guys I'm no expert, but I would definitely NOT put em in the dryer. We have just washed them, then lay em out on newspapers to air dry. good luck

Air dry. Dishwasher for cleaning if the wife will let you. She probably won't though. Dryer is rough on them. Use a blow dryer in a pinch, again if the wife lets you.

You could try the dryer with no heat, just spin them around and blow cool air at them. The heat messes with the polyester.

The heat also makes the plastic panels hard and brittle, and will crack fairly quickly. Air dry is best. In a hurry I put them in the dryer on heat for 10 min, then air for 20 min. Seems to work ok without ruining the panels. We use Cutters.

I always air dried them. Wash them regular but they have melted on me in the dryer. We used to have a whole team set I would wash once a week after the games. Wash them Saturday let them air dry Sunday and they were good to go. Cluttered up the dining room and kitchen table but they were good to go.

Some were rancid. Come on man! Yeah I put them in the washer and then air dried them. Worked out OK. One problem was the ink on some ran and stuck to the plastic of the wristband...worried when I put the new ones in that it might mess up visually and be confusing. Might have to "retire" those ones...

What can I do to make sure the lamination does bleed when our guys wear them on their arm? We had that problem in our last 7 on 7. Can I put tape on the edges?

This will be a common occurance if you do not cover them someway. We used to use packing tape to cover them but then I bought a Xeron 9" cold laminator that I have in my office. It costs around $120 but is worth every penny! No more going through the school office for lamination and no more taping the cards with packing tape. It's also good to leave a lamination border of 1/4 in or less to ensure sweat doesn't get onto the paper. You can also fold the tape over the edges if using packing tape.

Cold laminators are the best. We didn't have wrsitbands for out first game so I laminated the cards and hockey taped them to the kids' arms. Don't leave the cards in when you wash them.

Just ordered a cheap $30 Scotch brand laminator (trying to avoid the office), anybody try that one? The reviews were good but I might have to go with the $120 route.

Coach, be interested to hear your experience with the $30 version. We have a laminator at our school but it can be a pain if it runs out and trying to get it refilled.

picked up an 8.5" by 11" sleeve laminator at office max and it was the best money I've spent. Theres usually a fight for who gets to use that thing on game night between 4 and 5 PM haha.
For the wristbands, wash them in clothes washer and air dry them. I picked up a couple 6 foot pieces of PVC pipe to hang them on. I just toss them on the pipe then set it across a couple chairs and let it dry for a day or two.

Buy rubbing alcohol, fill 5 gallon bucket with several gallons. Soak them for about 5 minutes, then let them air dry. The alcohol kills any and everything, and if you use menthol alcohol will kill the smell. do this every Saturday after the game, they are dry by next practice.....and with the covid freak out going on, it helps with that as well.
