Anybody have a simple system for calling multiple formations with few words as possible that would register with the players, especially several unbalance formations. E-mail me at jr235@numail.org Thanks, jr

we call out the guys number and say "over" to unbalance....ie "88 over"
you could say "pro right 88 over" for example.

when in oregon, we used to name our formations with "R" names for right formations, and "L" names for left formations.

I think the best way to get in multple formations is with a few base formations and tags to move each player.Plus it will give you the ability to get the best player on the route you think your QB read will put the ball. Also each player only has to remember 4 formations and his 5 or 6 tags and you can get into any formation.

I am with cookie. We have a few base formations where most everyone knows where to line up.
FB is then labeled with letters TB is with numbers
the letters and numbers are set spots on the field based on other alignments
this allows us to get into a ton of formations and run the same plays

the fb would be rst on the right, r is offset I, s is a wing, and t is inside wr to the left it goes lmn
tb is numbers so he goes 4,6, 8 out to the right and 579 out to the left
