My favorite play is the power with three lead blocks...but Ill say that the Waggle pass is one we spend an aweful lot of time defending in practice. The Waggle is one of the best plays in all of football, has misdirection, its part of a series, the qb can run or pass...lots of conflict built in for a defense.

uh oh, you didn't ask what the super power was did you. The double wing gurus are going to turn this into a super power clinic now. Super power is one of the base plays out of the double wing. you toss it off tackle while pulling back side G and T and QB leads up. Basicaly student body right.

The "flip" play.
When the offensive player "FLIPS" the ball to the Official after he has scored. ;D

the best play is any play which gets you 4 yds or more. 3 four yard plays gets you a first down.

Midline is my vote.
"Your team scoring on a big pass play after the other team turns the ball over" Only problem with this is it's just about the natioonal tendency to throw deep after a turnover. When I was a DC, it was usually a max blitz after a turnover for that reason.

What is the best play in football? Optional running pass from the single wing. Nothing places the flat/force defender in a bigger conflict, faster. Even better is the Optional running pass from the single wing from a spinning fb to the wing.

"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women." ...oops! Sorry! That is the answer to the question "what is best in life"...

All you offensive guys got it wrong, the best play is punt block. A good punt block will win games for you, change momentum of the game, and drastically change the field position game in your favor.

Gosh, theres so many good plays! Long punt's downed at the 1 foot line, game winning blocked or made ep's or fg's, the perfectly executed "gadget" play, a short pass that turns into a long run and score, a goalline stand to win the game, a perfectly thrown deep ball with the reciever catching it in full stride, a power sweep, sacks made, fumbles forced, tipped balls turned into brief moments of glory for players unaccustomed to the hallowed ground beyond the goal line, but the kinda play that always puts a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart is one run right up the gut, between the tackles! It comes in many forms and goes by many different names, but theres something special about the crack of pads, groans of linemen straining for position to create the slightest seam, as the qb hands the ball off then carrys out a perfect fake, then the halfback, eyes scanning the periphery, hits into the mass of swirling humanity, and comes out clean on the other side, makes a quick dip as he measures the final defender and streaks up the field to the endzone, amidst the background of cheers and cursing he's left behind! Now, thats a football play, lol!
