if the steelers get the lead, better take a nap as it will be boring. cowher is a lead sitter. he takes the air out of the ball. some say this is why he cannot win the big games.
I do not see the steelers scoring more then 21 points tops. it is not with in their offensive comfort zone.
a shoot out plays right into mike holmgrens hands. seahawks have a very good passer and runner.
if it low scoring it will be the steelers if it is high scoring, it will be the seahawks.
I hope for the seahawks. I am tired of everyone fallowing the the overweight out of shape steeler running back who is no were near 255. I say 3bills atleast. I am tired of joey porter.
I think the media wants the steelers but the seahawks could upset them. it would be cool if it was a reverasl of the bear s pats superbowl of 20 yrs ago. the bears had this great defense and beat up on the pats. now if they seahawks could beat up on the steelers, not that would be cool.

If the Steelers get the lead they will pound the ball right at Seattle with their great running game. This is not boring to me its more of a thing of beauty! The Steelers running game and their great defense will be enough to them the win IMO.

need to add Refs to that list of choices as they are the ones that won this game.

Easy now, cc! Those were simply make-up calls for all the crappy officiating the Steelers had to overcome to get to Detroit!

steeler fans are always the same, the refs are out to get them. when they benefit it is as if they deserved it.
steeler fans were screaming after the victory of the colts and now seahawk fans should be quiet.
cowher should give the trophy back as he did not earn it.

airman...chill out...a team that doesnt sling it all around won. im with you on the side of throwing it but you cant knock them or jerome. hes definately not out of shape. that guy has the quickest feet you've ever seen and he weighs 300. would he be a better player if he was ripped? IMO NO WAY
there were a few calls that went the steelers way but nothing major. seahawks won the turnover battle big enough that they have no excuses for losing. not even the refs

I was actually suprised cowher lets been off his leash. a few key calls at the right time. holmgren was pissed at the half when they admitted they blew the td call. this is why the nfl needs full time refs and not retired policeman and school teachers.

Hey airman...
Here's a riddle for you:
Q: What do me and Peyton Manning have in common?
A: Neither one of us has ever thrown a pass in the Super Bowl!
|
|
|
Post by coachdawhip on Feb 6, 2006 7:41:29 GMT -6
A few!!!?!?
1) Not Pass Interfence by Jackson
2) Big Ben did not score (I want to go back to old school football where you need to touch the ball down in the end zone)
3) Bad Call on Hasselback on the below the waist block
4)Not holding on the Stevens catch on the one.
Now I'm not saying that the Seahawks would have won the game. But the refs clearly had Terrible Towels in their pocket and were showing them to us at the right times during the game.

I wonder if Joey Porter will say that the refs were on Pittsburgh's side?

How about Seattle's poor clock management, especially in the 4th quarter.

Take back those bad calls, and the score is probaly 21-all in the 4th quarter.
