do you know of that made it to the NFL as a HC or Coodinator, then came back to college level HC jobs and were successful? As in several seasons of winning records, conference champs, bowl bids or national championships??? Lets see, maybe I can think of a few easy ones- Pete C. (USC) John Mckay? June Jones(Hawaii) Don't know about Steve Spurrier yet? Bill Walsh?

just of the top of my head here: - nick saban (was dc in nfl before going to michigan state)
- butch davis (won super bowl with cowboys - although don't think he was a coordinator - before resurrecting miami)
- charlie weis (oc from patriots to notre dame)
- john robinson (former rams coach - also usc prior to that - took unlv to a bowl couple of years ago)
- dennis erickson (u miami to nfl back to college - did great job with oregon state when he came back from nfl)
- les miles (was a position coach for the dallas cowboys before taking the hc job at Ok state)
- bill calahan (um, is that successful? at least at nebraska?)
- al groh (was with jets, now at virginia)
- mike shula (oc with dolphins - maybe just qb coach - done good job at alabama)
know there are more, but just tried to reel off some quick ones.

I couldn't remember John R. and was thinking George A. went somewhere but couldn't remember where. Don't here much about Long Beach in Ga.
