Our staff is learning the system this offseason and we are "selling out" to it next year.

what makes one a "sell out" to the offense?
what would make them sell out?

The offense is a total system - minus the run. What makes people sell out to this system? I am not sure - we sell out to it because we believe in it and feel it is the best out there for our kids.

I am seriously considering the system. What do you mean "minus the run"? There seems to be a lot of room to run the ball in this system. In fact, the most successful team I have seen run this threw the ball less than 10 times in several big wins.

If he threw the ball less than ten times this year in a game, I am not sure I would consider him an air raid guy, unless he just didn't have a quarterback. I think you can be a little more flexible with the running game is all I am saying. I don't hear air raid coaches talk about air raid running game - the screens are considered the majority of the running game.

Just curious - How close is the Valdosta playbook to the Franklin Air Raid system?

We run the Tony Franklin System which is the AIR RAID.
By the way, I think when the comment "minus the run" was made, they meant they were sold out to all of the passing concepts, but they used a running game that was not always used by Mumme, Leach, Franklin, or Hatcher.

Are there any Air Raid Playbooks out there?

We base our passing game out of the Air Raid system. I have been to the Tony Franklin clinic and have combined it with some other things from Valdosta and other sources plus the running game that I designed. We have offensive success with not very much talent.

Valdosta has been air raid ever since Mumme was there and put it in - they keep hiring coaches that are already in the system and it just keeps rolling.
