We've shown IN PRACTICE (pre practice / post) clips from films to help coach....

In the past, we've shown clips from The Last Samurai to illustrate visualization and how you prepare before a play (see it, watch contingencies, do it) to make your execution perfect and with purpose.

Also, during Summer Camp, I felt it was necessary to play the final Paccino monologue from Any Given Sunday to get the team together, remind them what's important in the game...

...there was this great quarterback in the 70's I knew. This guy was one tough sonofabich. Fought for every inch he got. Didn't have your natural skill, this guy, but he made it happen, he won...so time went by and he didn't know it, but his day was over. He couldn't go deep like he used to and he started missing the easy underneath routes...the game was just passing him by...Anyway, I ran into him a few weeks ago in LA and we had a few beers, we started talking and you know what he said?....He said that when he looked back at those 200 whaterver-they-were Sundays, he didn't really miss the Pantheon Cups or the girls ro the moeny or even the godamed glory! What he missed were those other guys looking back at him in the huddle. Those eleven guys -- their names he could hardly remember -- but it was their faces he remembered... every one of 'em seeing things the same way. Looking downfield. Together.
