Need some help

I have been made head coach of a Semi pro (amateur team) here in my hometown. Have realtively no experience as a coach and wondering if any of you guys have any advice. I want to run a 4-3-4 defense or a 4-2-5. Also I want to run a Oklahoma Style offense, is there any places to get really good information on this I can find. Any one have any pointers? Need ALL the HELP I can get. I have no doubts I can do this but need a little support from some other football cronies. The last time I played football was 15 years ago in H.S. We played a I formation offense and a 5-2 defense, since then things have changed alot. As far as coaching I helped coach the Jr. high DE's for a 5-3 defense. A lot of stuff with them was repetitive and didnt get a chance to go to meetings and such becuase I am in school, so I had a hard time understanding some of it. So again, fi you have any advice, help, ect.... It would be appreciated!!

There are plenty of good books and videos available out there to give you some quick information and food for thought.

If you go to the Links protion of this site, go to Coaches Choice site and look throught the football info their. Also you can go to ChampionProductions.com or AmericanFootballMonthly.com and find many articels and other insightful information.

I have looked through there and havent found that sitee, I am sure Im looking right at it but want to make sure I look at the right one!

If you are wanting 4-3 info, there is a lot of that available.
