What are some ways to get your kids exposure (not necessarily offers) to various colleges?
Outside of calling the coaches (busy this time of year) and 'selling' an athlete, but more in the lines of establishing a point of contact between the player (parents) and interested schools.
Letters of interest / Prospect questionares / etc
And in terms of selection process to afford your players the MOST choices / options provided they can meet financial & academic obligations
Thanks in advance.

there are various recruiting websites out there on the internet that allow colleges to see highlight tapes, stats, and bios about players all over the country without having to travel all over the country to meet with the players

As a division three college coach I will say this. Division one& two recruit kids they need for their scheme. If they want kids they will call and tell you. Division 3,NAIA,JUCO-They are a little more receptive to getting film,as they are normally recruiting for number, and will look at whatever film you send them, and if they like what they see they will take it from there. I have coached d3 football for five years, and know this stuff especially about D1 and 2 as it's their job on the line, and if they want your kid they will call and ask for film. It's just the way it is.
