I'm watching Penn State-Northwestern and the PSU QB has thrown 3 picks. On the first, the ball was overthrown because a defender got into his face as the ball was released and he couldn't follow through. On the second, an OL was driven into him as he released the all. The third happened when the receiver bobbled it into a defender's hands. There have also been two or three other balls that have been tipped at the LOS.
The TV announcer has been relentless in criticizing the QB for his lack of pocket awareness. I've never worked with QBs so could somebody tell me if the guy has a point or are his comments as idiotic as I think they are?
