Anybody use the new Adidas tech fit jerseys yet? Giants, A & M, UCLA and others have used it.
My rep brought one by a month ago and a Large looked like a Volleyball jersey it was so small. A & M equipment manager said his players loved it. He said they felt like they were playing in Under Armour it was so light.
I just wanted to know if anyone else had used these jerseys and how they worked for them.

Only drawback is it's difficult to get design on in right now.

Yeh, our rep told us it would have to be very plain on the design. I don't care though as we had so many tackles on our players last year that were uniform tackles. We used Pro-Line the last three years and they were like gowns.
I think these jerseys could give us a slight advantage. Very tough to hold for offensive linemen (look at the Giants d linemen jerseys next time you see their game) and very difficult to arm-tackle these.

Yeah they looked pretty nice and tight on ND. The plain design wouldn't bother me none because I personally like Uniforms like Penn State's.

I don't mind the plain uniforms but our HC is a fashion guru, lol. It's really important to him and that kind of bummed him out. I was trying to tell him it's not so bad because the uniforms will make it worth it.

When it comes to uni's anymore I'm from the thought, 'the tighter the better.' Especially at the high school level where tackling is so poor and holding is never called unless it's out in the open field.

These are some pretty tight jerseys. They are the Rawlings Compression Fit and cost around $40. ![](http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs833.snc4/69373_171922459487793_100000101209475_637153_2126634_n.jpg)

Whenever I see the supertight jerseys, I get a laugh at the thought of the (larger) players having to team up to get them on, and the ensuing hilarity.
Bucksweep, you stole my thunder! Actually, that's basically what I played in my first season. Very difficult to tackle a non-existent jersey. Some guys also liked to ponytail the jersey in the back with tape.

Thats was I'm talking about the mesh jersey, guns taped up so that your arms were about the burst, with the pony tail jersey taped in the back. That is the look of my playing days and I love it. I do think some teams look sharp with the new styles but there is a team on Long Island that still wears the belt length mesh jerseys and I love the look.
