Looking for some help - I would like any help on how you coaches teach your QB's about the strengths and weaknesses of defensive fronts.

i won't get into all the details right now -- there are others who can present a clearer picture via this message board than me -- but will throw out a little "tidbit" about teaching the qb:
teach him the simplest thing(s) he needs to know about specific things. sometimes, too much information (i.e. "needless" info) overloads the functionality or play-making ability of him. in my opinion, if not careful, the qb can be overcoached easier than any other position.

Coach Huey is absolutely correct. Plus, the strengths and weaknesses of each front depends on what type of offense you run. Option, Power, Slot T, Spread, etc.

Absolutely, Coach Huey - teach him the details ... "take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselve"

We start with Qb training before school for the last 6 tuesday's of the year for 1 hour. Use a power point to teach them
leadership defensive recognition recognizing uncovered option on me
have weekly homework and quizes, has worked extrememly well.
