I will go high scoring on both sides and day Texas 45 USC 35. Vince Young will go nuts and so will Reggie Bush. The game will start out slow and then it will be big play after big play.

USC has more bullets than UT, it is going to be a shootout, but, in front of USC's home crowd....USC pulls away in the end by 14-17 points....

This one won't be as close as people think. Given a month to get ready, I'd take Pete carroll over Mack Brown any day. I think USC has more weapons. And don't forget, Carroll is a defensive guru. Even though their defense has been suspect at times, I think Texas is more one dimensional with Vince Young. While you can't completely shut him down, USC will do enough to contain him. When Wednesday night rolls around, USC simply knows how to get it done in big games. It'll be the same old "deer in the headlights" Texas. USC wins by at least 2 touchdowns.

I dont know if TExas is suffering from the "deer in the headlights" disease. I think they overcame that when they beat Oklahoma. It will be a good game but I think Texas will muster enough to get it done Texas-24/USC-14. And Texas isnt as one dimensional as you might think, because they have an ok rb, Young can throw and definately run!!! I think that USC will try to stop young from running and forget about the other less utilized offensive weapons of Texas and that will open up the game for them.

Texas has several RB's in Romance Taylor, Selmon Young and Fresh RB Jamaal Charles. It's going to come down to the X-Factor who in my opinion is Mack Brown. Can he get over the rap of winning the big game. He has proven himself with Ohio State and a downgraded Oklahoma. This is much bigger.

I really think this game might be a blowout early, with either team storming back in the 2nd half (like all bowls have been this year heh). I'll go with SC 42 UT 28

Texas by 7. Dang that's hard to say, being a Aggie. Texas front 7 should (hope) give SC trouble.

Texas 35 USC 31
If USC comes out flat the way they have a couple of times this year. They will not be able to recover regardless of how much time Pete Carol has to prepare

Dont much care for either team but the Big 12 (even this year) is a much tougher conference than the PAC 10. Texas by 7.
