We opened today - sort of... Florida allows a "Kickoff Classic" which is a non counting game (we then play 10 regular season games).
We started off by getting a great wedge and ran the opening kickoff back for a TD (great start!) and then kicked off. We then kicked off and their guy probably ran about 180 yards back and forth before finally stumbling across the goal line for a TD! They kicked off and we ran 6 plays for good yards before the game was called due to Lightning! We waited for about 90 minutes before calling it for good. Now we open officially next Friday. Kids are excited - we looked good while we played - obviously need to work on KO tackling!
