In another post, in regards to how to turn a program around.
1 thing he pointed too, was doing things a little different than they've been done in the past... more specifically, the pre-game warm up.
What are you guys doing in your pregame warm up, before you break off into your individuals, and the team?
Got a fancy entrance, or stretch routine?

Even though we were a successful program, we were a mediocre 1st quarter slow starting team until we started getting in a circle and having a series of one on one getoffs between the oline and dline, TE and lbers etc. with everyone yelling etc. Probably about 10. We did it right before getting together to run plays. We've been much better starters since we started doing that.

Thanks khalfie.
One thing we do on defense is to run our TOTD drill.
Put the defense on the 20 yard line--snap the ball, butt roll right, butt roll left, butt roll right, then jump up and hit your pass rush, get to your drop etc. I throw the ball or flip it on the ground. The defense gets it and takes it into the endzone. Jump around, slap hands, make noise.
We do this every night in practice, but on game day it's a great one for our guys. We love it.
