Tog, you are correct, boys, I meet CoachJD, heck of a football mind, you might want to pick his brain if you get the opprotunity.
Also passed on our little secret about this great board, should have a couple other good coaches from MN joining us to share their ideas.

Nah...gotta pass on the props when we have good guys to share ideas with. Gotta wonder what God was drinkin' when he made ND? A few trees might have helped the landscape a little, I counted one in 220 miles.

Glad you took the time to stop by and introduce yourself. Fella's, ogie is one organized and detailed coach who has tons of football knowledge to share. If you have any organization, technology or 4-3 defense questions don't be afraid to give him a PM.

my brother-in-law used to live in minot. he would always manage to call during the summer & gloat about how it was 70 degrees while i was suffering through 100+ degrees during summer here in tx. BUT, i would rub it in when it was 45 here and minus gazillion up there during winter.

Didn't some people in North Dakota want to change the name to just plain old Dakota? I read that they said it would make the place sound less cold and more inviting.

Yes, I can definitely attest to the minus 80 degree days when your outside, any facial expression you made, would hurt. Hey Coach JD, when you recruited me, I never did get that sales pitch about the beautiful winters in Minot, care to refresh me how that pitch went? haha, just ribbin ya.

Didn't it go something like this.... "make sure you find yourself a nice girlfriend in the fall of the school year so you could find reasons to stay warm?" but I think that most of the players chose to go to the barley pop, peytons place or the landing and endulge themselves with anit-freeze.

What, you did use the Blind Duck or Dae Udder Place as selling points? Both are newly remodeled now.

I must admit, I did go to blind duck and payton's place more than I should of. However, saying that...it was only for the delicious Coke-Cola! They had the best SODIE POP!

Last I talked to Vergara (and this was over a year ago) he was still living in Sacramento area, working as a dishwasher in some restaurant. Man JD, I don't know if you've ever heard him play guitar, but he can really play, I always hoped he'd get into a band after college, he really was musically gifted.
