In New Mexico our regular season schedule lasts 13 weeks which includes 1 scrimmage, 10 games and an Open weak. I am curious how long the regular season lasts in other states. Please Share.

In IL, the regular season is nine weeks with no byes. I believe the time from the first practice to last regular season game is 10 and a half weeks.

A nine week regular season would be nice. We have our 13 weeks then another 4 weeks of playoffs. The State Championship is played the first Saturday in December.

Minnesota we start the 3rd monday in August and our regular season ends on the 3rd Wednesday night in October on normal years. 2 weeks of practice with a scrimmage and then 8 regular season games lasting 7 1/2 weeks, and almost all teams make the section playoffs.

2 weeks of pads with a scrimmage each week then a 10 week regular season, some teams chose to play 9 games with a bye week and a few districts only play 9 and start playoffs a week early in PA. Then 6-7 playoff games depending on your district. State title games Dec 18th.
Here's another question: How many state champs do you crown and how many schools have football? PA has roughly 600 schools going for 4 titles, about 150 each class.

AR-1 scrimmage game 3 non conference games, 7 conference games
5 of 8 teams make the playoffs from each conference. 6 classifications, 2a schools have roughly 200 kids in their high schools, and the 7a have upwards of 3000 kids. There are only 16 schools in the 2 highest classifications. The lower classifications have 32-64 teams per classification. Ar is very watered down at this point in time, the split the top classification because the top end schools had 1k more kids than the bottom half of the classification. All private schools have to play up 1 classification from their number placement.
