Saw some very large hula hoops being used for pass rush drills as well as some RB and WR stuff. I checked Gilman gear they dont have any. Anyone know where I can buy a large hula hoop? Or how I can make it out of something other than garden hose? I want something that is hard ans keeps the circle shape.

Use 3 ten foot sections of PVC and put the elbows on them to connect them. Works very well.

i just paint them on the field. Easy, simple. all you have to do is repaint them every 2 weeks or so.

Cut a piece of garden hose the length that will make the diameter of the hoop you want. Then attach the 2 ends together, I used wooden dowels that fit snuggly inside the hose. Form the hoop on the ground. You can make pins to make sure it stays in place by cutting lengths of a coat hanger and bending them over a dowel and then tapping then into the ground at intervals to hold the hoop in place.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I actually just went to Lowes and found 5 foot lenghhs of 1/2 inch plastic tubing (looks just like pVS but way more flexible) I attached them with couplings and have my circles for 10 bucks each
