DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE OR WHERE TO GET AN EQUIPMENT BOX THAT YOU TAKE TO GAMES THAT CAN HOLD ALL MED SUPPLIES, EXTRA EQUIPMENT ETC IN AN ORGANIZED MANNER AS WELL AS BEING EASILY CARRIED/ROLLED. OUR PREVIOUS COACH JUST HAD A GIANT TOTE AND A GIANT GYM BAG WHERE STUFF WAS THROWN IN THERE, WHICH RUINED MOST OF THE MED STUFF AND MADE THINGS HARD TO FIND DURING GAMES-SINCE WE HAD TO EMPTY THE WHOLE THING TO GET TO SOMETHING
ANY IDEAS?

we use tackle boxes. It is a cheap way to get things organized.

those rubbermaid tubs work pretty good........the ones that have wheels on one side, anyway.......
tackle boxes are good for small stuff........
also, a good idea to keep stuff organized in the big tubs is to save shoe boxes......you can use em to put gauze pads, mouth peices, etc in.....without everything getting jumbled up.....

i want to try to get something that is compartmentalized that is big enough to hold all of the med kit stuff, the extra equip, and the spikes, mouth pieces, shoulder pad straps etc etc, but is also light enough to carry/roll. I have not been able to find those containers that the pro teams use or the ones seen used by bands at concerts. they look like large chests that have wheels on them and rivets. have not been able to find them on google either

My dad did equipment for my high school team from 94 through 06. He had this huge rubbermaid chest that looked like those mechanic tool chest things. The closest thing I could find was this: www.buyonlinenow.com/viewproduct.asp?SKU=RUB345700BLA His had three drawers that locked plus the doors in the bottom.

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot. They have tool boxes that are perfect and durable.

Those toolboxes or tackle boxes work well. We also carry a bag that has mouth pieces and anything that doesn't fit in the boxes in it. We have them in ziplock bags with only that item in it.
