Heres a question for any of you HC's or Asst College guys
Anyway I was recently hired as a OL coach at JUCO college. Besides being responsible for my group which is of course time consuming, I want to be more involved in the recruiting aspects, administrative duties, and overall program management. Not because I want to build up my ego or anything but its more of a case I want to learn so if/when I get a chance to move up , I have some knowledge. Plus when I am finished with my masters degree program in about a year or so, I will have to do some kind of internship within sports administration anyway.
How would you suggest me doing this without coming off as a kiss ass or pain-in-the-ass?

Congrats on your new assignment. You will be a busy man with your master's work and coaching at the collegiate level.
Here is an approach that you could consider. You want to do a kick butt job as the OLINE coach and the school expects a commitment from you that you will be successful in your master's programs, right?
I would become as effective as possible at doing my main jobs and demonstrating that your players are getting better and executing the game plans. I would say that you have the most critical individual positions to coach on your team and there's no room for error. With that said, I would talk to the HC about after the first season you would like to sit down with him and discuss expanding your job scope.
If your HC is organized and runs a systems based program, all of the bases should be covered. My point is, if he gives something to you (example: recruiting coordination) who would he be taking it away from and what problems would this create within the staff?
Maybe you could talk about co-working on some of the things that interest you. Don't try to do everything because you'll be good at nothing.
You should be commended for your interests but make sure that you are doing more than just a decent job at your main roles. Your job is to become the expert at the OLine. Just some things to think about.

One of the head coaches I use to work with was always telling us to ask what else we can be doing. He would say, if you are done with all of your direct responsibilities, don't sit in your office and BS with the other coaches or catch up on personal emails, come into the head coaches office and ask "what else can I be doing to help our program right now?" Sometimes he would give you something trivial (organize the apparel closed, archive old films on the editing system, etc.). Sometimes he had more "important" things he needed done but wasn't able to get to himself like writing letters to recruits, scheduling fields for a camp, etc. Either way, it was stuff he wasn't going to tell us to do because it wasn't necessarily our responsibility, but he would lets us get our hands on those things if we were asking for something else to do.

Kyle - congratulations. My advice is the same as touchdowng - first do a GREAT job at what you are supposed to be doing. I'm guessing you were given a job description during the hiring process. Stick to it before looking for more things to do. Don't ask for more responsibility - SHOW the header (and everyone else) that you are ready for more responsibility and it will come.
