would need in order to get the program started. I have applied to a new school's HC position around here and while the facility is built, I have no idea if they have started ordering anything for the team. I am referring to equipment, clothing, etc.
Any list would be great so that when I interview later this week, I show a leg up on what a new program would need.
Also, any advice on how to handle a new principal in a new school and things that could blow his doors off during the interview to help lock this up.
The school is a 4A school with expected numbers to be around 1400 students.
Thanks in advance.

Where are you located? How many is anticipated out for football? What kind of say are you going to have in hiring assistant coaches?
You're going to need adequate weight room, training room (taping), practice equipment (dummies, shields, footballs, sleds, etc), player equipment (shoulder pads, hip pads, knee pads, thigh pads, jerseys, pants, etc.)
Tell them about how you would organize practice, lead your coaching staff, the media, training rules, etc. Show them that you have organization, leadership, and administrative skills in dealing with both players, coaches, administration, faculty, and parents.
Just some thoughts.
