I think I might be more excited about Ga Tech vs LSU than the chamipionship game..
I mean Miami and Georgia are really good.. but seeing how Tech stacks up against the LSU defense will let us know just how well the flexbone will work in the NCAA for years to come.

I will DVR that. However, I want to see the championship match up badly......those are the two best teams (if I were a UT fan, however, I'd be screaming playoff.....oh well) GMAC bowl with Ball State and Tulsa will be very interesting too. I haven't got a chance to see Tulsa this season. Poinsettia with Boise State and TCU will be a dandy as well. Ohio State will add to the whole "Big Ten Sucks" conversation that I hate to hear......(we grow your food in the midwest, by God, leave us alone!) I'm trying to make this coaching related, but what the heck......Let's go bowling!

doubt one game will say much towards this. one game does not a season make ... nor does it make a statement as to the "validity" of a scheme.
all good offenses have several things in common, regardless of their 'name':
- can get the ball to the people that can score/make plays - can make quick adjustments to what the defense is doing .. i.e. can scratch where it itches - is very sound and efficient in its execution - stresses the defense on the perimeter while forcing them to be gap sound inside - can put secondary/force players in a bind with formations and/or play calling

just a question.....why do you think the LSU defense would bother to show up for a bowl game? They have absent for all the regular season games.....
I would really be interested in the Motor City Bowl, though..... Two reallly good quarterbacks in Rusty Smith and Dan LeFevour.....two very potent offenses showcased.
Lots of good teams get to continue playing, so this is a good thing

I'm really looking forward to seeing my Wolverines play...my bad. In all honesty, I'm looking forward to seeing all the BCS games. I think the matchups will be good games.

I would wait a couple of years before evaluating so he can get his own guys in there. The recruiting will be interesting. Will he get enough talent to make a run at the national championship? We can debate all we want on the board but only time will tell

I'm actually very, very disappointed about this matchup of GT vs LSU. I'd rather see a team with a good, disciplined defense to try to slow down Paul Johnson's attack. LSU's defense has been awful this year, especially for the talent they have. I don't see them slowing down GT. Losing Bo Pelini made a huge difference on that side of the ball.
They have a month to prepare to slow down the Option. Hopefully they'll be ready.

Even though I am a bowl fan, and not really a playoff guy, I DO have a problem with the apparent fact that your record in 1977 has something to do with your current Season. I would have liked to have seen Boise play one of those 1 Loss clubs...
