Apparently...The refs offered us a bonus point ...or our FG kicker hit the cross bar and they decided to give us 1 of 3 points for effort? We barely beat The A-11..29-27..hah. |

It could be coach...I think 1 was the minimum.....maybe the actual score was St. Ig 53 to -10..but they couldn't give out negative numbers?

That is kind of addicting. But, they have my high school, one of the worst in the state of Michigan, beating Southlake Carroll 18-11, but losing to Euless Trinity 63-0. I wonder if they have some kind of bonus points for schools in the major states, such as Texas, which would almost certainly dominate Michigan schools.

Go to the CalPreps.com website and you can project a match-up. It's pretty accurate. It's the computer rating system California uses to decide who plays in the bowl championship games.

My old HS is a one point underdog and they puit out a 28-27 score in advance. That's hosre {censored}, I know old people will think that's the actual game score. Can't believe that was put in the paper.

That is pretty cool-
We lost to a team (played our a$$es off) 25-24
The Massey rating thing had us lose 26-23...PRETTY DARN CLOSE TO THE REAL THING!

The Massey Ratings didn't predict anything until Game 4 for us, but they were 7 for 7 in correctly predicting wins and losses from games 4 through 10. And most of the scores were reasonably close.

I ran our whole season. It was scary accurate. Every game correct, and all within 5-10 points.

I used both the calprep and massey ratings and both of them had us losing 3 games that we won. Including a game that we won 14-10 which both said we should have lost somewhere in the 30 or 35 - 7 range. I guess that means we're overachievers.

MAybe, if the Ratings can be considered accurate, that it DOES show some over-achievement/underachievement... In the game we lost 25-24 we played very well, almost playing up to the other team's level...and we were picked to lose by a greater margin. Maybe it did show us over-achieving (not quite enough though  ) |

Actually got to play Katy, Southlake Carroll, and Trinity this season.
Lost to Katy by 4.
Lost to Southlake by 7.
Lost to Trinity by 14.
Nightmare of a schedule.

Tried it out on the simulator vs. those same 3 teams we actually played. Here's the results.
computer said we would lose to Katy by 6, we lost by 4.
computer said we would lose to Southlake by 9, we lost by 7.
computer said we would lose to Trinity by 14, we lost by 14.
Pretty close!!!

Wow I played North Penn Hs (PIAA) up here in Pa vs Smith center HS in KS, North Penn destoyed them 41-19. I'd like to see how teams would stack up against the old CB West teams from 99-00
