Does anyone know what they do on offense or defense?

Last I saw it was spread (gun) option. They have a great QB this year who can run and throw and a quick back.

Thats what I thought. I know DiMatteo was a flexbone guy in the past, but I saw the passing numbers put up this year (about 1800 yards) and doubted how much flexbone they were running.

The rumor I heard was that the locals (if you know Hinsdale then you know what I mean) did not like the flexbone look and the run oriented offense. So now he is fooling them by doing the same thing in the gun. Only he is throwing because of the QB.

I have communicated with him and he is a flexbone/option believer. He might be "fooling" them this year with some gun.

Ok I got it. I heard the QB was a stud so maybe he's just tossin it around a little. I've never met the guy. Ive just spoken with OTHER coaches who have spoken with him about triple option football.
Funny bunch of squirrels parents, boosters etc are huh.

Other posters are right, option stuff from the spread gun look. He is a good coach and a good guy who is usually willing to talk football.
On a side note, I might tend to believe the comment about the parents and the boosters, I interviewed for that job and sat in front of the AD and seven PARENTS for the committee. Very strange feel when 98% of the questions came from the parents.
