Anthony Kedis (Lead singer of the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) played RB at Lowell High School in Michigan. My uncle was the QB, one time he handed him the ball he gave it right back to my uncle i think that was the end of his playing days. ;D

Richard Grieco played HS football at Immaculate Heart Central in Watertown, NY. The first time he touched the football in Varsity competition he scored on a Middle Screen pass from 30-yard out.
He went to college in Connecticut but an injury kept him from furthering his playing career.
He starred in TV series - "21 Jump Street" with Johnny Depp and in his own series - "Booker" and "Marker". Had part in "One Life To Live" and on "Who's the Boss". Starred in movies: "Veronica Mars", "Mobsters", "If Looks Could Kill", "A Night at the Roxbury", "The Apostate" with Dennis Hopper, "Forget About It" with Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welsh as well as several others.
Movie star-turned-Singer, he has released his own ablum and is presently in Nashville with the filming of a new series for CMT -"GONE COUNTRY" to be seen in 2009.

What position then RB or WR? I see he dated Chistina Applegate and Yasmine Bleeth, also quit an accomplishment!

Wait... I'm trying to figure out why you have to convince ANYONE that football is cool. Haha, it just seems foreign not to like it. Also, I'd keep names like Ryan Seacrest off the list if you want to make them think its cool.

Yea, I think putting Seacrest on their is more of a, hey if this _______ can play football so can you! The truth is, without a lot of winning tradition at a small school, it is a lot easier to spend your time doing easy things like partying, playing video games, riding your dirt bike, etc. I like to put the basketball guys on their because we have a few who think that they need to "protect themselves" for basketball. Anyhow, I wish I was at a school where I didn't have to find a way to convice guys to play, the reality is I have to look for any way that I can to put the idea in there head.

Did you try showing youtube videos of the pro NFL players in high school or anything like that. Lebron James (and an excellent quote) - Reggie Bush highschool - Iverson - Hard to post video on a bulletin board, but you can write "To see Lebron James high school highlights search 'Lebron James High School Football" or something.

Doesn't seem to be what you were looking for (since your examples include Ashton Kutcher and the Rock, Dwayne Johnson), but I always liked former US Supreme Court Justice Byron White: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byron_WhiteWhite was a star football player for the Colorado Buffaloes of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he acquired the nickname "Whizzer"[3] from a newspaper columnist. The nickname would follow him throughout his later legal and Supreme Court career, to White's chagrin.[1]. After graduation he signed with the NFL's Pittsburgh Pirates (now Steelers),[1] playing there during the 1938 season. He led the league in rushing his rookie season and became the game's highest-paid player.[1] He took 1939 off to study at theUniversity of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, but returned to play for the Detroit Lions from 1940–41. In three NFL seasons, he played in 33 games. He led the league in rushing yards in 1938 and 1940, and he was one of the first "big money" NFL players, making $15,000 a year.[1] His career was cut short when he entered the United States Navy during World War II; after the war, he elected to attend law school rather than returning to football. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1954.[4]
