Coaching a small 6, 7, 8th grade team this past season. Normal turnout for football is 25 give or take...ended the season with 22 turning out for the last game. We put the best 11 on the field going both ways, with maybe 3 to 5 back ups that play regularly to spell the others, but most of the starting 11 will get 90% of the game snaps. So, how would you stucture practice time with 2 hours to practice during the season? We play games on tues night (8 game season if no school cancels), and don't practice on fridays (varsity game night). What are the things you'd stress most in team, and individual time? How do/would you break it down? We have about 2 calandar weeks or approx 8 or 9 practices preseason. What about then?

Forgot to mention...The HC is a teacher due to AL rules, and knows nothing of football...then there's the real HC, me, and another coach that are all volunteers.
