Need a list of good football songs for pre game warmups. Mostly I've heard plenty that'd be great...however I either don't know the title or the artist...or both. All ideas are welcome....heres what I have so far:
Eye of the Tiger In the air tonight thunderstruck(ACDC) Hells Bells Inner Sandman(Metillica) #1(Nelly) Boys from the South Welcome to the Jungle(Guns N Roses)

Honestly, as silly as this one sounds
"The Game" by Motorhead WWE wrestler uses it as his theme (or used it) and its pretty cool.
"Click Click Boom" Saliva
"Its a fight" 3-6 Mafia (make sure to get the edited version
"Till The Day I die" Story of the Year

Erasure, Depeche Mode, Bahause, REM, The CURE, New Order, U2, etc.
Yeah, they won't let me pick the music, but anything by professor Bon Scot and his accompanying ACDC band is more than apre po.

AC/DC is cliche. Death March works well if you have black unis.

We take the field to the Terminator 2 theme.
"For Whom the Bell Tolls" - Metallica
I also think taking the field to the new Metallica song "Broken, Beat, & Scarred" would be cool.
"Moment of Impact" - Fear Factory "Run to the Hills" - Iron Maiden "Destroy Everything" - Hatebreed "A New Level" - Pantera
"The Pretender" - Foo Fighters (starts a bit slow and then cranks it up) "What it is to Burn" - Finch
"New Found Power" - Damageplan "Lights Out" - P.O.D.
"Wake Up" - R.A.T.M.
To name a few

Our home uniforms are Black so we always play;
Back in Black - by AC / DC
We play in a division called South, so we play:
Boom - by POD because of these lyrics:
"Boom, Here comes the Boom, Here comes the boys from the South" It also has a cool part where it say; "Is that all you got? I'll take your best shot". Great song.
We also play:
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns and Roses
We throw in a couple country songs for the parents and a coach or two.
One problem we have at our stadium is that the Speakers are all pointed back at into the stands. TO be able to hear the speakers on the field during pregame you have to crank it pretty high and it iritates some of the older fans.

If you were at my last school, you'd be treated to the Beach Boys and the Eagles... who doesn't get hyped listening to Hotel California and Kokomo....

We had "girls girls girls" as loud as crappy speakers would play. Grill smoke was flowing across the field, fat flaggers were shaking their money makers, and we had a pole (goal post). For a moment I thought I was in a low class strip joint. Got to love HS football!! We are undefeated at home this year so it must be working!!!!

Ask each of your players for a recommendation and use that. Different people have different ones, I've noticed.

For each home game we have (this year 6 of them) I divide the Varsity up into 6 groups.
Each group is responsible for making a 45 minute pre-game music CD under the following criteria:
1. No swear words or profanity
2. Must contain one AC/DC song, one Van Halen Song
3. Any other music of their team's choice
Kids love doing it.

We play the NFL CD that has various songs and sound bytes from the last 40 years. It's amazing.! We started doing this about 6 years ago and the kids absolutely love it. Some of our opponents have copied our idea and now play the same cd in pre game.
