I'm going to start film sessions with our O-Line. What would you suggest for guides line before starting? I don't want it to turn into a bitch session or players being disrespectful of other players, etc. Thank you for your input.

I know when we watch our game film it's pretty much do not talk unless a coach address you. If you do you watch out. If a coach asks who is this on the film, the answer is not "Me" but their name. Pretty easy if you make your expectations know up front and enforce them.

We talk to our players about video sessions being an important part of our "Inner circle." Basically, what is said there, stays there.
Any positives that we cover are great to share but anything that we have to be critical about has to stay in our meeting.
We are very black and white when we grade our video with our players but it is never personal. Our kids get it and have shown excellent growth from watching video.

OMG I love this I am printing it out now. still lol!!!! seem to be swimming around in Lake ME hahahaha love it ours don't talk, the coaches talk...it's not even a "coach, I thought..." session, it is a "we see what you did, this is what you should have done" ...or in my case..."OK, it's DW...wing in motion...you're suppose to be keying this TE (laser pointer on TE with static wing)...what does the TE do? He blocks...what do you do...OH!! YOU BACKPEDAL TO 20...why, because you're looking at the QB...it's 3rd and 2 son...what are you doing? They have thrown 6 passes in 2 games, what are you doing? Is their a magical mythical creature that only you can see running a post route? You're covering grass on a running play. The grass is going to catch it son, it's everywhere and never drops a ball. You should be right here (laser pointer at LB depth inside OLB)...you should be right here...making a play, making your momma proud but instead of being a football player, but you seem to be swimming around in Lake Me doing your own thing...playing DWR (defensive wide receiver) and embarassing your pops." argh...G**D*** free safety...and PHUCKING SOPHOMORES this would have been the same one who thought #76 was the TE instead of #86 he got a lot of reps in the JV game on saturday and had a great seat for the Varsity game on friday. To bad for him the kid who replaced him, played well...looks like he'll be watching again this week.
