What do you do when these people get in charge of the whole stinking thing?
They are in charge where I'm coaching at right now. The city used to have one big school. During this time every sport was dominate. Some coaches probably took advantage of this during that time.
Well the people, most notably the women, who sat back and watched this are now in charge. They really have no clue.
Examples:
-The first year of the school I'm at now there was a woman AD. Which is fine....if she knew what she was doing. She scheduled a full varsity schedule against some of the best competition in not only Alabama but Mississippi and Florida.
-I have one kid on the team, well was on team who has been told he is living out of school line, then told he was eligible to return to school, now he has been told he is living in another school zone and has been sent there....losing a year of eligibility.
- During proration they decided that sports, mostly football, didn't need all that money THEY HAD RAISED THEMSELVES. So they took it, with the promise to pay it back. Thus the birth of offshore accounts.
Just some of the things we are dealing with......and better win.
