They won!! 22-6. It was my 1st win as a 1st yer HC and their 1st in three years... not counting a "toilet bowl," victory. 12 kids, both sides of the ball, baby! Sadly, our D broke a kids armon the other team; the only regret. (really) 1st win. Ahhhhhhhh!
So proud. What a feeling. Man.
"Thanks Ted and Huey." That was from the kids. Great offense. Great website. "Thank you gentlemen." That's one's from one, very lucky and appreciative coach: me.
You shoulda seen their faces; they looked like the 2004 Red Sox, game 4. Thanks everyone!

i run ted's wing-t but my kids couldnt get the jet motion down they are 7-8 year olds my quaterback kept getting blowed up and wing backs was getting cought in the backfield and i have some fast players so i went to more of the traditional delaware wing-t formation with one wing back a fb behind the qb and my hb even with the fb behind weakside tackle i still use teds plays red and blue formation and the belly series and now they are doing great i havent lost a game and marching up and down the field the problem you had with your coach i had with the commish of our club he wanted us to be a power i club so he gave us a playbook to teach out of so i taught that but i run my wing-t it didnt look good for me our first game because it was getting stopped and i got that look (i told you so) but after i made the adjustments i gave him a call right after the game to let him know we looked good

I didn't coach up the jetmo. The Wing, Tail, and QB made their own adjustments according to their speed and the speed of the snap. They align where they feel comfortable, one almost in the slot. After four games, the Tail has 442 yards and % TD's but he is not just speed. He's the whole package. Without him, it might not be as successful, but talent does matter imo.
Sounds like you have some bigger kids that might like running forward more than back and forth which fits in nicely with what you have done. Good adjustment.
I am the only squad that runs the Wing-T and the rest run the Power I. Because I am not preparing them for their future (in the I) I was scrutinized very closely. Vindication came after our first 84 yard TD. It felt so good that I shook for two days, like I had adrenaline running through my veins. The vindication was such an incredible feeling.
I did put in an I look at first, two plays, out of the Wing-T and that did okay for our fullback that likes to run straight but... to avoid grab-bagging, also now have the formation without motion like you have. It is definately more successful because it is consistent with everything else.
Great job going undefeated. We have the twenty series, the eighty series, a spread look because my main QB can't throw so I have to platoon, the formation you have which we call the sixty series, two plays out of the I/WT that we call the 30 series, wedge out of the WT, and counters. It took eight weeks to get there though.
You know, you can still have your look and motion the TB/WB to the backfield before the snap. It's like the belly but the TB/WB gets set before the snap. We run motion 90% of the time to cause that momentary hesitation of the D, conflicts, and mismatches. Starting out in the same formation that we will be running, without motion, gives the D more insight into our offense then I feel confortable with. We keep them guessing at all times, never figuring out exactly what formation they will be seeing, because it's ever changing.
Just what we do, good luck. It's a great offense, good to see it works in more ways than one.

Coach, I should add that we do not have the red/blue installed. However, the kids have the plays down and are asking for it. I can't believe they are able to remember all the plays we already have but because they are so similiar, they do and it's amazing. I'm going to see how they do this week in practice with it but that will bring them from 24 plays up to 48. I just can't see that happening but considering how quickly they learned everything else, it's worth a try.
I had to add that, because up to now, installing red/blue wasn't possible and didn't want you to think we had and that it was. It hasn't hurt us but mostly because of talent and motion. I'll let you know how it goes. It just seems ridiculous to have 48 plays but we'll see. Think I might just rep what we have from here on in if it confuses them.

thats a good look but that is alot of plays but by running red/blue youre not addin plays same plays but diffrent sides of the field and i might try putting the motion back in for my wing back also after my game saturday i think i need to put in a reverse just to get some extra misdirection my counter plays to the weak side kills them because they think we are runnig to our strong side and we take it back to the weak side we get big gains everytime but im envious of you guys that put up more than 21 points because we move up and down the field but we dont finish
