Looking at O. State's roster the vast majority of their starters are from Ohio. Ohio needs to get some credit for it's outstanding brand of high school football. It often gets overlooked by Texas, Florida and California. Bo Pellini the D. Coordinator @ LSU stated last year that Ohio is right there with best of um. Give Ohio boys some credit.

Ohio had 1 big time college football team in the state. Florida, Texas, and Cali have 3 each. That is the difference.

Don't know if you can call FSU and Miami "big time" this year.

I think you have to throw Pennsylvania into any discussion of great HS football states, too.

Most of the good players on the Univ of Minnesota's roster have come from Ohio the past few years. Ohio is starting to get recruited as heavy as Texas, Florida, California.

If you are talking college programs in the state of Ohio. An argument can be made that the best football program in the state of Ohio doesn't even reside in Columbus. Travel about 2 1/2 - 3 hours northeast to the city of Alliance to Mount Union College. www.mtunionfootball.com/
