not much of a bucky fan, but you cannot argue that their student section is one of the best in college football. here is a link for a video of the wisc student section which shows them jumping around to "jump around" by House of Pain. One of the best and coolest traditions in college football IMO. I have been there 2x to witness the insanity of bucky fans and will be there again this fall. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-498125572111523216&q=jump+around+wisconsin+football

It is pretty awesome to see first hand, but for my money nothing beats a jam packed Neyland Stadium and watching the Pride of the South Marching Band form a T and watch God's team come running onto the field.

Paydirt- been watching it for 20 years and still get goose bumps every time the T opens up and the team runs through it.

Here it is. Was a die hard Vols fan when i was in HS and college. Now that i'm in coaching though, i've become fans of coaches more than teams. But there is still a soft spot in my heart for the Vols

I have been to wisconsin games. been on the sidelines during jump around. you can feel the earth move underneath you.
after each game they have to check for stress cracks in the stadium.
great thing about wisconsin, it is none stop cheerling. I like michigan and all but there fans are so boring.
wisconsin rocks the house. 85,000 season ticket holders.
penn state is a great place to watch a game.
ohio state and wisconsin have had some good games over the years. wisconsin is no where near the football program ohio state is.
there is the famous choak by a j hawk on the wisconsin qb and the backup comes in and throws a 60 yd td pass to win the game.

going to Penn State and witnessing the "white out" is something to experience. As the college gameday guys put it last year: "PSU gameday is the greatest show in college football"

I know my example is not big time college football but I have played football at collegetown MN against St John's University(Division III) and I have seen very few places that have a more roudy, raunchy, insane crowd than playing there. I have been a GA in the Big Ten and seen a lot of cool traditions but in terms of energy and creativity you have to see St John's. It is a cross between the tradition of Noter Dame, creativity of Duke basketball, and irreverence of the Stanford band.

Not that it really matters, but it is Collegeville and not Collegetown. Either way, it doesn't get much better than spending a fall saturday in Collegeville for a Johnnie game.

great videos fella's.
biggroff,
I live about 20 min. from collegeville and I know how nuts it can get for a St. John's home game. I have been to almost all of the Big 10 stadiums and clements stadium holds its own for div. III football.

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, how about the Skull Session in St. John's Arena before Buckeyes games? If you haven't done that one you should...Wow! Script Ohio as well.
