We do. We've been involved since 1983. The program has been very positive in enhancing all our sports teams especially football. We compete in both the state and national level. we have won numerous team titles over the years.

How many schools out there have a powerlifting team were they compete with other schools and then go to the national championships ? answering your question depends on the governing body there are so many powerlifting organizations out there holding "national this" and "world champion" that I took the kid that won the THSPA, Texas High School Powerlifting Association champion ships 148lb weight class 545 squat 260 bench 520 deadlift He won state, then went to the "national championship" and his openers won the thing, there just weren't that many lifters competing. And the ones that were, were not too great. Seems, the "in the know" people that want to get their kid some sort of pub, take them to that meet and see if they place. There are some elite people that show up though.
