Unfortunately it's coming a monsoon in Middle Tennessee. At least we don't go in pads til Monday so we can probably get the intro/teaching part done in the gym.

High school. And we got put off a day til tomorrow. Oh well, we had one day built in for weather so I guess we just used it so Woo-Hoo! Spring Practice starts tomorrow!  |

Spring Practice?!?! Its -44 degrees here and we have 5 inches of ice between us and the grass.

aj- Our track coach is very good to work with. We get our guys most of the time. Baseball goes til the end of the school year so we won't get those guys anyway. We tried to schedule around it in the past but couldn't do it.
Tom Y.- It was 72 degrees here yesterday. Now that is so far away from normal it's not funny, but it sure was nice!

Just wondering. . . what states allow spring practice for High School football? or is this just college level?

Louisiana has spring it starts at the end of April and through the month of May. 15 practices with pads.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! First day in pads and we had some fun! Mid 50s and sunny, and pads popping. I think most of my schedule and plans went out the window as I figure out how to teach this option stuff. It's just a little different than the inside and outside zone.  |
