Okay, I suckered you in here.
However, If a new law goes into effect, message boards like this one and sites hosted on free "blogging" sites (like mine) will BY LAW be blocked from all schools in the U.S. PERIOD. I don't know if your IT guys are like ours, but they are just too busy or whatever to go in and set things up for individuals. The gist of the law is to cut off time-wasting sites like MySpace and chat forums so the kids won't get the hook-up with a 57 year old viagra junkie in Omaha. But sites like this and veersite and a lot of sites used for classroom use are gonna get severely (if not completely) blocked from schools. I don't know about you guys, but I like taking 5 or 10 minutes to check the new posts from school during my planning (okay, 30-40 I admit it!)
The bill has passed the house OVERWHELMINGLY and is headed to the Senate... I for one, don't thing these morons have enough sense to get this right the first time... do you?
I'm no activist, but I'm gonna take time this weekend to email the ol' Senators with some advice: stay outta my school slack-time or I'll work my ass off to get your next challenger in like flint!

Below are a few things about this new law by those smarter and more informed than I:

Sorry for the non-football post, but I had no idea this was happening and thought I'd share it with the rest of the coaches on the board.
Sincerely,
