Not a single one of our kids has bothered to put on a pair of spandex legs or top yet. Every one of them is running around in the exact same stuff they had on in June.
I can't believe how warm it has been. Heck the first time a kid said it was cold out at all was yesterday... We're in freaking November... This has been the warmest football season I can remember in New England.
That said a cold day/warm day or even a few months in a single location has no connection to global warming in either direction.

Do you all remember the Scholastic Weekly magazine classrooms recieved back in the 70's? I remember (though many of my peers don't) the predictions of a coming ice-age? I heard someone today saying it was even in Newsweek. Greg

not to take a joke and make it serious but im pretty sure k is right. plus only the cause of global warming is really disputed, even politically.

Does this mean if have cut my grass More or Less? Does this mean if have to shovel my driveway every winter More or Less?
Just let me know when the worlds greatest minds get to solving those two monumental issues.

coachveer,
Aren't you in the snowbelt in MI? That's where wingtol is in PA. If so, I think that you both are going to be shoveling snow up to your eyeballs no matter what. Gotta love lake effect snow no matter what the climate.

Try being is the PHX. valley- was 93 at practice yesterday with more of the same expected today. Warm even for us this time of year but much better then the 110+ days in August and September.

Gotta love lake effect snow no matter what the climate. Once winter starts around here the lake effect just starts to kick our butt. Our local everyday weather forcast calls for 1 to 14 inches of snow. And they keep getting paid for that.

coachveer,
But think of all that great exercise you are getting. Maybe you could come up with a snow shoveling exercise video and get rich...call it "Snow-Bo"!

wingtol, What are you guys going to do today? Isn't the forecast for 6-8 inches of snow? Actually it didnt snow much today just a light rain/snow mix in the morning. We borrowed 6 shovels from the college where the field was and coaches and injured guys shoveled off about 50 yds of the field. Not alot left from yesterday but enough that it had to be shoveled. Basically scraped a light dusting off the turf. Still was cold as balls out there about 33 deg.

Hell, I am still wearing shorts at practice. So am I... And I live in New England... Only been two days that I wish I hadn't worn them... And the season is almost over.
