Just wondering what the enrollments are of the school's you all coach at. I see a lot of mention of classes but that does not really help.
Our school is Class D (smallest) and Division 8 (smallest) for football. Enrollment is 231 students 9-12

We're a AAA which is the largest classification in Virginia. We're a small AAA, though, with about 1300 students 9-12.

I'm at a 4A high school in Utah. The 5 classifications breakdown about like this:
1A = less than 300 (10-12) 2A = 300-800 (10-12) 3A = 800-1200 (10-12) 4A = 1200-1600 (10-12) 5A = more than 1600 (10-12)

We are CIF Southern Section Division I. It is not based upon enrollment but strength of league. The top 3 divisions are performance based leagues, so we play many private schools with small enrollments. After Division 3 it is regional. Although next year we are doing away with the number system (again) and going to names like Costal, Desert, etc...
Our school is 3100 students.
