well i can say from my experience (having coached in Louisiana, East Texas, Oregon, and now New Mexico) it is always hard to break into somewhere new, and every place you go they think they are the only ones that know how to coach football.

Good point. I have tried to get on everywhere in the area, willing to work Middle School through Varsity, volunteer or paid....Guess I'll take in some Evangel, Grambling, and La Tech games this Fall, instead. I figured it out.....apparently, the "Holocaust really DIDN'T happen....and the SOUTH actually WON the civil war....." man, this is a made-for-FOX-TV-special. I'm in Louisiana now....The womens ain't the Wisconsin-Illinois fare I'm used to....but luckily for me, I'm only 20 minutes from Texas (haven't found a bad looking woman in Texas, yet!!) you know the mason dixon line is not that far south. it is a line between penn and maryland. the south is not that far south when you think about it. richmand was the capital of the south and it is 90 minutes from washington dc, the capital of the union. now had the capital of the south been atlanta, then I could see it. What the hell ya talkin' about?

What the hell ya talkin' about? the mason dixon line is a civil war term. you are in what is called the deep south. things are way different down in the deep south. so how are the woman of wisconisn/illinios different? do they have all their teeth up north and not down south? I was in the south a few times, i realized it was just not for me.

Do you mean the War of Northern Aggression? That's how they taught it to us here in Tennessee. Too bad your not around here. We're looking for a middle school head coach and possibly a hs varsity assistant. Plus the scenery is a lot better!

brophy, I don't know you personally, and I know this is a screwy business (after all, there are administrators, parents, and politicians who get involved) - but I can't believe somebody who obviously has as much on the ball (pun intended) as you is looking for a job and may be sitting in the stands next fall.
Say it ain't so, bro!
