Those of you who use the BFS Be An 11 program, I am wondering how you implement it. Do you have them come in and do the clinic, or do you do it on your own? Has anyone ever set up their own curriculum based on the Be An 11 stuff that they could present to their teams themselves? Finally, how does this program compare to the Coaching to Change Lives stuff?

We use BFS but not specifically the Be an 11 program. I will say that when we went to BFS the best thing that we did was have the BFS clinic. It really got us on the same page. It cost some money but it was worth it.

I used it at the last school I was at. Great concept.
The way I look at it is I teach character to the kids everyday by my actions and by what we tolerate in practice. We also talk about it, from day one, about being respectful, responsible, and early.
I have copies of the CTCL curriculum and prefer to use bits and pieces of both.

CTCL--Coaching to Change Lives www.coachingtochangelives.com/I have seen parts of this program. It looks like it would be a great tool in helping the youth of our country. I do know that some states are close to making character education mandatory for all students. This really needs to start in the elementary schools, IMO.
